Job Title: Office/Administrative Assistant

Position Overview:

The Office/Administrative Assistant will play a pivotal role in supporting our dynamic team, ensuring efficient operations across both Select Auto Parts & Sales and Tires Express. This individual will manage a wide array of administrative tasks, from handling customer inquiries to managing inventory listings, with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and superior time management.

Key Responsibilities:

Junk Car Coordination and Paperwork: Manage the entire process of junk car buying, from initial customer contact to final acquisition, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
Process all necessary paperwork related to the junk car transactions, including title transfers and sales documentation, adhering to local and federal regulations.
Coordinate with the dismantling and inventory teams to ensure the timely processing and storage of parts from acquired junk cars.
Act as the primary point of contact for the eBay Specialist, Dismantler, and Inventory Specialist, coordinating daily tasks and ensuring all team members have the resources and information needed to complete their tasks efficiently.
Oversee the team’s workflow and assist in prioritizing tasks to ensure operational efficiency and timely completion of projects.
Facilitate communication within the team and with other departments to ensure smooth operation and effective collaboration.
Handle customer inquiries via phone and email, providing excellent service and support.
Coordinate logistics for tire pickups and deliveries for Tires Express, including scheduling and customer communications.
Assist in managing inventory listings on car-part.com and eBay, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
Process sales transactions and manage billing and invoicing with attention to detail.
Support the President in administrative tasks, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and project support.
Maintain a tidy and organized office environment, including filing and managing office supplies.
Perform other related duties as assigned, adapting to the evolving needs of the business.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar administrative role.
Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively, with excellent time management skills.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and the ability to quickly learn new software.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on customer service.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
High school diploma required; further education or certification in Office Administration is a plus.
