The Role

Are you an organised, self-motivated individual with an eye for detail? Are you looking for a role in Customer Service?

Smurfit Westrock Weston-super-Mare has a vacancy for a Customer Service Administrative Assistant to work in the Customer Service Team, offering support to our Customer Accounts Managers and our New Product Development team.

The role is primarily focused on order processing and system reporting to provide operational support for Customer Service. You will ideally have previous experience using computer systems, and within a customer facing environment.

Whilst we are primarily looking to fill a Full-time role, Part time hours would be considered for the right candidate.

The main responsibilities of this role include:

Processing orders, amendments and cancellations efficiently and effectively

Gain a full understanding of customer order requirements

Managing customer expectations, communicating through Customer Service

Provide administrative support to the Customer Service Team

Provide administrative support to the New Product Development Team

Cover Office Reception during holiday periods

Work as part of the Customer Service Team to achieve business targets and key performance indicators

The successful candidate will have:

Previous Customer Service experience is desirable, but not essential.

Good working knowledge of Excel, and other Microsoft packages

Good

communication skills

and ability to work in a

collaborative

way

Evidence of demonstrating a proactive ‘can do’ attitude.

Self-motivation, enjoying a high-paced environment

Excellent time management and personal organisation skills with a flexible approach
