Job Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the daily operations of the customer service team, ensuring prompt and effective responses to all customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback.
Serve as a point of contact for escalated customer issues, resolving problems in a timely and professional manner.
Provide administrative support to the management team and other departments as needed, including coordinating meetings, preparing reports, and managing schedules.
Design, implement, and monitor customer service policies and procedures to ensure quality customer experiences and continuous improvements.
Conduct training sessions for new sales representatives / customer service team members, ensuring they are well-versed in company processes, product offerings, unique selling propositions (USPs), and online marketplace strategies.
Collaborate with the sales team to streamline workflows, improving sales operations and customer satisfaction.
Support the development and implementation of customer service-related initiatives to increase customer loyalty and retention.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings, ensuring accurate information is communicated to customers and staff.
Handle other administrative duties as required to support the smooth operation of the business.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a customer service or administrative support role, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.
Strong understanding of customer service principles and the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle customer issues with professionalism and empathy.
Experience in training or coaching sales representatives and/or customer service teams.
Knowledge of online marketplaces, e-commerce platforms, and digital marketing strategies is highly desirable.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software, preferably 1C
Ability to analyse data and generate actionable insights to improve team performance.
