Job Summary:
The Data Entry Administrative Assistant at EB will be responsible for providing support to the Human Resources department through accurate and efficient data entry and administrative tasks. This is a full-time, individual contributor role based in New York, New York. The hourly rate for this position is $40 per hour and pay will be provided on a weekly basis.
Compensation & Benefits:
In addition to the competitive hourly rate of $40 per hour, the Data Entry Administrative Assistant will also receive benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and a 401k plan.
Responsibilities:
Accurately enter and maintain employee data into the company’s HRIS system
Assist with onboarding new employees by ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and entered into the system
Process employee changes, such as salary adjustments and promotions
Prepare and distribute employee communications and documents, such as offer letters and performance evaluations
Maintain electronic and physical employee files in compliance with company policies and state and federal regulations
Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR-related matters and escalate issues to the appropriate HR team member as needed
Support various HR projects as assigned
Maintain confidentiality of all employee information
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in a related field preferred
2+ years of experience in data entry or administrative support role, preferably in a HR department
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HRIS systems
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Strong organizational and time-management skills
