Full Job Description

Position Summary: Receive, review, maintain and file source documents for data input and operate key entry devices to record a variety of alpha/numeric data onto various storage media.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Inputs Life Limited Part Summaries data and applicable technical and operational documentation for Company and customer aircraft and engines and related parts.

Inputs data for lease aircraft and engines, obtains operational and technical data, audits lease data, up-dates aircraft and engine database.

Assists in pre-purchase evaluation of aircraft and engines and/or inventory as required.

Inputs Life Limited Part Summaries and trace packages.

Researches records through contacts with OEMs, repair facilities and previous owner /operators in obtaining life limited part trace and complete operational and technical aircraft and engine documentation.

Creates and updates Specification Sheets for aircraft and engines as necessary

Scans select technical and trace documents.

Verify accuracy of data imputed into the database.

Track documents received and completion dates.

Communicate with technical staff to resolve computer and software problems.

Completes reports and backs up files.

Clerical duties including filing documents

Education, Knowledge and Skills:

H.S. diploma or G.E.D. certificate.

Entry level position with a minimum of one (1) year of data entry. Strong data entry skills alpha and numeric with a high level of accuracy.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows/Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).

Typing skills must be at least 35 wpm.

Attention to detail is imperative.

Must be able to multi-task.

Must be efficient with a desire to succeed.

Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.

Must exhibit a high level of confidentiality with work product.
