In this pivotal position reporting to the Manager of Finance, the coordinator supports both the Finance and Fund Development teams. You will process donations accurately, maintain the integrity of the donor database, and facilitate donor recognition through effective stewardship initiatives. Collaborating with your teams will be crucial for maintaining donor trust.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process and record donations from various sources accurately
• Maintain the donor database with updated records and reports
• Produce timely charitable tax receipts and acknowledgements
• Support financial reconciliations between donation records
• Respond professionally to donor inquiries related to contributions
Requirements:
• Minimum high school diploma, finance background preferred
• 3 years in data entry or admin role with donor services experience
• Proficient with fundraising databases, especially Raiser’s Edge NXT
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to ethical fundraising practices
