MISSION STATEMENT

The Montana Department of Revenue administers almost 40 state taxes, property appraisals, liquor laws, and unclaimed property for the State of Montana. The Information Management and Collections Division serves Montana citizens and businesses through timely and accurately processing tax returns, refunds, and payments, integrating improved technology to enhance the user experience, increasing electronic filings, resolving overdue debt, and collecting other state agency’s debt.

DUTIES

Job Overview:

This position resides in the Information Governance Unit of Department of Revenue. Duties include coordinating program activities, managing program information, responding to inquiries and support issues, collecting and reporting program data. The incumbent will manage relationships with various internal and external stakeholders, assist business analysts and unit managers with program administration. The position resides in the Information Management Bureau which comprised of three units, Customer & Payment Management, Digitization, and Information Governance. The position reports to the Unit Manager. This position does not supervise other staff.

Knowledge of:

State and federal tax laws, rules, and regulations
