Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Data Scientist, based in Singapore with the flexibility to work from home part of the time. The Data Scientist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing data science models to solve both business and industry-specific challenges. Daily tasks include analyzing complex datasets, designing impactful data visualizations, performing statistical modeling, and contributing to data-driven decision-making through well-structured insights. Collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams to enhance strategic initiatives and adapt innovative solutions is a fundamental part of this role.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Data Science and Data Analytics
- Knowledge and experience with Statistics and Data Analysis
- Experience creating accurate and effective Data Visualizations
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL is preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in both team environments and independently
- Familiarity with the energy or oil and gas sector is a plus
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
