We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Automotive Dealership Vehicle Inventory Clerk to join our team. This role is essential in managing vehicle inventory, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supporting dealership operations.
Job Summary:
The Automotive Dealership Vehicle Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining and updating vehicle inventory records, processing paperwork, and coordinating with various departments to ensure a seamless inventory management process. This position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately enter and maintain vehicle inventory records in dealership management systems.
Process new and used vehicle invoices, registrations, and other required documentation.
Ensure all vehicle titles, stickers, and registration documents are correctly filed and up to date.
Reconcile inventory discrepancies and work with sales and accounting teams to resolve any issues.
Monitor incoming and outgoing vehicle inventory, ensuring all units are properly documented.
Assist with inventory audits to verify accuracy in records.
Coordinate with the sales and service departments regarding vehicle status and availability.
Maintain compliance with state and federal inventory regulations.
Support other administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
Previous experience as an Automotive Inventory Clerk or in a related administrative role preferred.
Knowledge of dealership management software (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar) is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred.
