Litigation Trial Paralegal

Gobel Flakes LLC is seeking an experienced Litigation Trial Paralegal to join our team for an in-office position. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Required Job Duties:
Minimum 5+ years of experience with Insurance Defense

Minimum 2+ years of Trial attendance and assistance
* Requisite
Thorough understanding of the Insurance Defense Litigation process
Manage full caseload
Prepare medical chronologies/records summaries
Analyze medical bills and collateral source records
Draft all required pleadings, including discovery responses
Draft Expert Disclosures, Witness & Exhibit Lists, and prepare exhibits for trial
Mediation, deposition, and trial preparation with attorney
Knowledge & understanding of billing to exceed monthly billing minimum (e.g., ABA billing codes, Timeslips/Timesheets)
Experience with case management software such as Aderant Total Office (formerly known as Client Profiles)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
The law firm has shared full-time legal assistants to handle some of the “non-billable” duties, but the candidate must be willing to schedule events and locate case information if needed. Some secretarial tasks may also be required. We seek a team player who possesses extensive BI insurance defense experience, maintains a professional demeanor, demonstrates leadership skills, and can become a key member of our team.
