Responsibilities

Process and sorts of incoming physical mail/email/scans and distributes mail to staff

Drafts and creates letters/itemizations to be forwarded to attorneys, members and carriers

Retrieves and logs voicemails from the department phone system based on existing workflows

Provides clerical support to the Worker’s Compensation and Lien Department, including but not limited to filing, photocopying, faxing, emailing, typing, scanning, delivering, sorting, etc.

Reviews old documents and checks to see whether entered into electronic file

Provides backup service for file storage

Performs additional duties and projects as assigned by management

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required, some College or Degree preferred

Minimum one (1) year clerical experience in a general office environment required

Strong Keyboarding skills required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to read, comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos

Professional manner and presentation a must

Must meet performance standards including attendance and punctuality
