Title: Design Engineer

Responsibilities: -
- To perform preliminary and actual design calculations for pressure vessels, heat exchanger, etc.
- Maintain submission of documents drawings to the third parties agency, client and statutory bodies like DOSH.
- Prepare all cost data base for project pricing and cost estimation methodology.
- Direct, review and approve product design and changes.
- Prepare preliminary equipment material specification and material take off.
- To provide technical aspect on the design to meet client requirement and interpret standards such as ASME, TEMA, BS and etc.
- Maintain existing engineering records and designs.
- To perform any other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as and when required.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least Degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Pressure Vessel, Heat Exchanger and Piping fabrication and installation especially in Oil and Gas Industry.
- Familiar with international code (ASME, TEMA, PTS, EN etc).
- Familiar with pv elite.
- Skilled in AutoCAD and Microsoft Project 2010 is an added advantage.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
