Director – Technical Services, APAC
Job Description:
As the Director – Technical Services, APAC, you will be responsible for the technical and field service activities within the Asia Pacific region. You will work with the Asia Pacific Senior Leadership team to set the strategic business direction and plans to achieve/exceed the technical service objectives and profitability to be a vital contributor to the future growth of the business.
- Ensuring that the service team is contributing to the best possible customer expectations.
- Develop and execute a service strategy aligned with company goals, focusing on scalability, customer satisfaction and profitability.
- Ensure all service operations comply with FDA, ISO 13485 and other applicable medical device regulations
- Support service contract growth, upsell opportunities and renewals
- Driving improvements and change management in services processes and efficiencies
- Lead, motivate and mentor service managers and service engineers within Asia Pacific
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Biomedical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- At least 15 years in field service for medical equipment’s, with minimum 8 years in leadership role
- Deep understanding of service logistics, technical troubleshooting and compliance in the medical device industry
- Skills in leading, inspiring and engaging people to produce high quality results
- An outstanding, enthusiastic relationship builder with high emotional intelligence
