Joining our centralised Document Control Team , you’ll support project teams across the UK and Europe and play an essential role in ensuring our work is delivered with precision , consistency and excellence . Reporting directly to the Lead Document Controller , you’ll become a trusted partner to engineers, project managers and clients alike – the steady hand that keeps complex documentation organised , compliant and flowing seamlessly.
Every day, you’ll immerse yourself in the detail, reviewing and auditing documents and drawings to ensure everything is accurate and aligned . You’ll take ownership of issuing documentation through our electronic document management systems , maintaining clarity and control for internal teams and external stakeholders. With a keen eye for structure and formatting , you’ll shape documents not just to meet expectations, but to elevate our standard .
Working across multiple projects simultaneously , you’ll sit at the heart of collaboration, maintaining project numbering systems , issue registers and ensuring compliance with internal QA procedures . Due to the scale and complexity of the projects you’ll be supporting, previous experience as a Document Controller within the construction industry is essential . Confidence using platforms such as Autodesk BIM 360 , exceptional organisational skills and a natural attention to detail will help you succeed, along with the ability to communicate clearly , work collaboratively and manage deadlines with confidence.
This role will be based in our Central Newcastle Office , working on a hybrid model with three days a week on site , giving you the perfect balance of flexibility and close team collaboration.
