Donation Receipting Specialist
OVERVIEW

As a Donation Receipting Specialist, you’ll be a vital team member who prints and mails donor receipts for clients in a variety of ways, assists Cedarstone staff with any receipt requests and provides mailing support.
You willwork alongside Team Lead and Manager to meet client expectations and client goals.
Salary: $18-19/ hour
Job class: PT schedule, M-F business hours

RESPONSIBILITIES
General
Understand and exhibit Cedarstone’s core values.
Understand how donation teams work cross functionally with other Cedarstone groups.
Provide insight toleadershipon areas for improvement regarding processes and client service.
Donation Receipting Role
Print donor receipts on behalf of clients for mailing and reprints upon request. Uses folding and postage machines to stuff envelopes and add postage for mailing.
Review receipts for accuracy and visual presentation before printing and mailing to donors. Ensure correct envelopes and letterhead are used for each receipt batch.
Organize mail room supplies including letterhead and envelopes for orderly processing. Alert team lead when supplies are low to avoid mailing delays.
Problem Solve with Cedarstone staff concerning any mailing or receipt questions and understand receipt systems to help provide exceptional customer service.
Create and Maintain receipt letter templates in various CRMs.
Deliver mail to the Post Office each day.
Learn new systems and processes as required.
Coverage for Cedarstone mail runs and other deposit functions as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Excellentcommunicationwith team members, others-focused, curious, not afraid to ask questions and ask for help.
Experience preferred in multiple CRMs and SQL.
Proficiency working with Microsoft Word. Technical savviness to quickly learn and navigate new systems.
Business skills demonstrating trustworthiness,attention to detail, ability to finish tasks despite interruptions and good time management.
Natural problem solver with the ability to understand frameworks, a desire to make things better, solve puzzles, uncover issues, and not afraid of making mistakes; adept at fixing own mistakes, researching and suggesting options, and executing solutions.
Organizational skills including prioritization, focus and discipline to meet deadlines.
Flexible, adaptable and able to adjust priorities.
Confidential abilities in handling sensitive information with high discretion.
Physical ability to climb a ladder and lift up to 25 pounds.
