We are currently seeking Class C Box Truck Driver Contractors to join our team. As a contractor, you will have the flexibility to set your own schedule and manage your workload. – Safely operate company trucks to transport goods and materials to designated locations
– Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling of items
– Plan routes and follow delivery schedules to ensure timely deliveries
– Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
– Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
– Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies
– Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery logs and inspection reports
“`Requirements“`
– Valid commercial driver’s license non CDL with a clean driving record
– Proven experience as a truck driver or similar role
– Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and long hours on the road
– Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers
– Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures
– Familiarity with delivery routes in the local area is a plus
