Role Description

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role. As our E-Commerce Manager, you will be the central operator of our business sitting between the owner's vision and the team's execution. You will manage our Shopify store, lead our digital marketing efforts, coordinate our fulfillment and customer experience operations, and ensure every part of the machine is running efficiently and growing measurably. You will report directly to the business owner and will be their right hand in transforming Zeinacare into a well-run, data-driven, and profitable e-commerce operation. This is not a remote position — you will be based on-site at our office in Batroun, Lebanon.

Key Responsibilities

E-Commerce Operations:

  • Manage the Shopify store end-to-end: product listings, collections, pricing, promotions, discount codes, and storefront performance.
  • Coordinate with the development team and external agency on website updates, bug fixes, UX improvements, and new feature rollouts — acting as the business-side point of contact.
  • Oversee data entry accuracy: ensure product information, descriptions, images, and inventory levels are always correct and up to standard.
  • Monitor and optimize the full customer journey — from landing page to checkout to post-purchase experience.
  • Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks that impact conversion rates, order processing times, or customer satisfaction.

Team Coordination & Management:

  • Serve as the day-to-day manager of the operational team: data entry, warehouse/fulfillment, and social media response staff.
  • Set clear priorities, deadlines, and workflows for each team member.
  • Ensure the social media DM and WhatsApp response function maintains fast, professional, and on-brand communication with customers.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse manager to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time, and that stock levels are communicated proactively.
  • Run regular check-ins and performance reviews with team members and flag issues to the owner with proposed solutions.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Track and report on key e-commerce KPIs weekly and monthly: revenue, traffic, conversion rate, average order value, cart abandonment, return rate, and customer lifetime value.
  • Use Shopify Analytics, Google Analytics, and Meta Business Suite to generate actionable insights.
  • Present clear, concise performance reports to the owner with recommendations for improvement.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends in the beauty/skincare space and translate findings into business opportunities.

Customer Experience:

  • Ensure customer inquiries, complaints, and returns are handled promptly and professionally.
  • Establish or improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) for order issues, refunds, and escalations.
  • Monitor customer reviews and feedback and use insights to improve product offerings and service quality.

Requirements

Experience:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in e-commerce management, ideally in beauty, health, or consumer goods.
  • Proven experience managing a Shopify store — actual management of store operations, not just familiarity.
  • Experience managing or coordinating small teams.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Shopify Admin (products, orders, discounts, analytics, apps).
  • General knowledge of WhatsApp Business and Instagram, Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite and Ads Manager for Commercial Use.
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles as they apply to e-commerce product pages.
  • Strong E-Commerce and Management skills, with experience in managing online platforms.
  • Proficient Analytical Skills for data-driven decision-making and identifying trends that drive sales.
  • Excellent Communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and handle customer feedback.
  • Proven experience in Sales, with the ability to create and execute actionable sales strategies.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented mindset with problem-solving abilities.
