What You’ll Do:
Serves as an unclassified employee pursuant to Section 3301.13 O.R.C. and performs the following educational and/or research duties:
On behalf of the Office of Career-Technical Education, provides consultation and technical assistance to Career-Technical Planning District (CTPD) stakeholders (e.g., superintendents, treasurers, career-technical directors of secondary CTPDs):
· Serves as main contact to CTPD superintendents, directors and high-level administrators for strategic planning, program performance evaluation, state and federal funding policies, rules and regulations for assigned CTPDs in Ohio;
· Interprets and implements state and federal policy and plans;
· Reviews and approves CTPD career-technical funding applications through Comprehensive Continuous Improvement Planning (CCIP) electronic system;
· Assists in the coordination and preparation of the Perkins Consolidated Annual Report (CAR);
· Maintains Perkins electronic compliance system.
Monitors Carl D. Perkins grants to assigned CTPDs (e.g., in office and on-site):
· Develops plans and processes to assure compliance with legislation and improve performance.
Plans, schedules, and performs targeted technical assistance field visits for CTPD superintendents and career-technical directors at secondary level:
· Reviews CTPD plans for adequacy and for adherence to program guidelines;
· Maintains activity and site visitation records and reports;
· Plans, organizes and provides leadership for the review and assessment of CTPD programs, and related performance data.
