SALARY:The salary range for this position is $55,694.69 to $90,333.78 for Schedule A, and $55,694.69 to $85,817.10 for Schedule B. For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater.Judiciary employees hired prior to June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule A. Newly hired individuals, and Judiciary employees hired on or after June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule B.

The New Jersey Courts, EEO/AA Unit, is seeking a motivated and organized professional to assist with the implementation of the Judiciary’s EEO/AA Master Plan. The individual will work closely with the Chief Judiciary EEO/AA Officer and the team to manage the case flow and data related to statewide EEO complaints.

The successful candidate must have the ability to embrace teamwork and work independently in a fast-paced environment. The individual should be detail oriented, highly organized, and possess exceptional writing skills. This individual should exhibit professionalism in communicating with members of the public and staff from the vicinages and the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) regarding confidential matters. In addition, the successful candidate must possess the skills to provide excellent customer service, assist with case management, and complete special projects.

REMOTE WORK:The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings. To participate in this program, in addition to installing a multifactor authentication app on your phone or tablet, you will be required to have high speed home internet access.

Example of Duties

Review and assess initial complaint information to determine whether the matter invokes the EEO Policy Statement, explain EEO processes, and make referrals to another office or entity when appropriate.

Advise management on the status of EEO matters, including the case’s assignment, stage, and estimated timeframe for completion.

Notify parties of the case’s status and issue determination responses.

Prepare case management statistical reports and analyze data.

Evaluate and update case management systems, workflow, and processes.
