About the Role

The University Division of World Strides is the nation’s leading provider of educational travel programs. As part of its continued growth, the division seeks an Embedded Office Director for a position based at The Ohio State University (The University) to work alongside the World Strides teams to provide high quality educational travel for university students.

As the Director of The University Embedded Office for World Strides HigherEducation, you will serve as one of the main contacts for our partners at The University including staff and faculty as well as an initial point of contact for their students considering globaleducation. The Embedded Office Director, under the strategic guidance of both Custom Programs and ISA/TEANleadership, will work collaboratively with the Office of International Affairs, as well as stakeholders across campus to recruit and advise students participating in ISA, TEAN, and World Strides faculty-led programs as well as educate and serve individuals and units on campus who support those students.

This position is based in Columbus, Ohio, at The Ohio State University.

Description:

The Embedded Office Director will work closely with internal members of the World Strides Custom Programs and Campus Partnerships sales teams in order to support their responsibilities that include but are not limited to:

Meet and exceed annual sales goals and targets in order to maximize revenue growth

Identify new prospects at The University by connecting andbuilding relationshipswith university partners including GlobalEducationstaff, faculty, and other administrators

Develop a comprehensive awareness and understanding of World Strides’ relationship with The University, including the needs, pain points, and priorities of the students, staff, and faculty around globaleducation

Assist with management of World Strides programs within The University’s portfolio, including projects such as curricular mapping and identifying featured programs

Develop and implement a strategic plan to increase partner engagement through the development ofcollaborativeinitiatives that help realize University objectives and growth for World Strides

Assist with supervising undergraduate student Global Ambassadors at The University

Utilize and maintain World Strides CRM database systems, effectively managing the sales process

Student lead generation and Globaleducationadvisor support, aiming to fosterexceptional serviceto our partners at The University

Champion World Strides programs at study abroad events, pre-departure orientations, and other institutional engagements

Follow standards of best practices laid out by bodies that support globaleducation

Report on enrollment, trends, opportunities, and projects to World Strides colleagues andleadership

Maintain detailed records of all activities

Support World Strides internal teams and external university partners in the region as needed

The successful applicant must possess:

Bachelor’s degree

Residence in or near Columbus, Ohio, and ability to work on-campus at The Ohio State University

Demonstrated experience in a multicultural setting

Highly organized and strong time management skills

Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills
