Your New Role This role involves opening and closing files, managing calendars for various meetings, and liaising with clients for estate administration and executor tasks. Responsibilities include communicating with beneficiaries and other financially interested parties, corresponding with banks and institutions to gather information and notify them of deaths, and preparing probate applications and estate information returns. The role also entails preparing various estate administration documents, maintaining organized client files both electronically and in hard copy, assisting in creating precedents and checklists for estate administration, witnessing Will signings, and providing overflow clerk support for other practice areas.

This is a full-time, in-office role based at the head office in Mississauga, or Burlington office. Standard working hours are 9 a.M. – 5 p.M.. What You’ll Need to Succeed To be successful in this role, you will need:

A minimum of 5 years of experience as an estate administration law clerk.

Previous experience in a law firm or professional services environment.

Proficiency in legal research, document drafting, and file management.

Familiarity with legal practice group software, such as Pro Law, is preferred.

Flexibility
