Role Description The Event Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. This role is responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising events and promotions across Chip Mong Retail’s properties to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement. Daily tasks include coordinating event timelines, managing budgets, working with internal teams and external vendors, and ensuring that all activities meet company standards and safety requirements. The Event Supervisor oversees on-site event operations, monitors staff performance, resolves issues in real time, and ensures an excellent experience for customers and partners. The role also involves preparing post-event reports, tracking performance against objectives, and recommending improvements for future activities.
Qualifications
- Strong Event Planning and Event Management skills to design, coordinate, and execute retail events and promotions effectively.
- Proven Supervisory Skills to lead event teams, delegate tasks, monitor performance, and support team development.
- Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to interact professionally with customers, partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Experience in retail, hospitality, or entertainment event operations is preferred.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on quality and safety.
- Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., MS Office or Google Workspace); familiarity with event management tools is an advantage.
- Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Event Management, or a related field is an advantage.
