Job description

The Student Services and Systems department at Queen’s University Belfast, is currently seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate to the post of Examinations Clerical Officer.

The University delivers examinations in the region of 50,000 seatings per year to over 16,000 students.

The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive and professional clerical support experience to ensure the delivery of the examination administrative function. This role requires accuracy, resourcefulness and excellent organisational skills.

What you will get in return:
Salary of £25,642 – £29,619 per annum plus excellent benefits including generous holiday entitlement of 8.4 weeks a year (made up of 23 days annual leave, 10 closure days and 9 bank holidays).

The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate you have:

Academic and/or vocational qualifications i.e. NVQ Level 3, 2 A levels in relevant subject (or equivalent)

4 years’ relevant experience in a clerical role

Proven experience in a customer focused role

Experience of financial administration to include processing financial information and transactions

Experience of using systems to interrogate information to resolve end user queries

Experience using PeopleSoft Campus Solutions/Qsis

Supervisory experience.
