Job PurposeThe Institute of Policy Studies (IPS) is a policy research think-tank in the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore.

IPS is looking to hire, on a two-year contract, an Executive for its Administration team. The main responsibilities of the Executive are to assist the Assistant Senior Manager on day-to-day administrative matters.

Job Description

Provide day-to-day support in general administrative & HR functions, especially in the training and development programme for staff.

Attend to staff enquiries and manage employee-related issues.

Assist in the hiring process, onboarding of new hires and off-boarding.

Be up to date with company policies and ensure in compliance.

Maintain good documentation.

Manage general administration and office facilities matters.

Coordinating staff’s welfare activities such as staff retreats & team-bonding activities.

Perform any other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned.

Qualifications

Have at least a Bachelor’s degree in relevant Business Administration discipline from a reputable university

Preferably with a minimum of two years of relevant work experience

Have good Microsoft Office skills, especially in MS Excel. Advanced knowledge is advantageous.

Be meticulous, have good communication and coordination skills

Be a resourceful and self-motivated team player who is able to work independently with minimal supervision
