Job Overview
We are hiring for a Boston-based services business. We are seeking a highly organized and proactive HR Admin and Administrative Assistant to support our business.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional administrative skills, strong attention to detail, be highly responsive, and manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth operations with many team members in the field with competing needs, and requires a professional who can represent our business externally to new hire candidates.
Duties/Requirements
Handle various administrative tasks as they arise. Use problem-solving skills to take on learning new tasks. This role operates independently and is highly visible to the executive team.
Maintain databases of important information regarding our fleet, employees, and other assets.
Write, edit, and optimize job postings: ensure sufficient volume of inbound applicants with well-written and relevant job listings.
Manage a pipeline of resumes: reviewing 30-40 resumes per week, scheduling and leading first introductory calls with each candidate to pitch the role and build rapport, and advancing candidates through the pipeline to ensure an active pipeline of exceptionally talented people are available to hire.
Proficient with computers and technology, including Google Suite, Google Meet, and various software platforms such as Slack, Indeed Connect, and Google Sheets.
Excellent project management abilities with a focus on consistency and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members, new hire candidates, and clients as needed.
REQUIRED: Ability to be available and “on call” from 10AM to 3PM ET daily M-F to assist with field emergencies (flat tires, etc.) as needed.
