Central Maine Conditioning Clinic, a health and wellness clinic specializing in occupational/sports medicine, is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, professional to join our team as Administrative Assistant. The position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with strong multitasking, problem solving, and customer service skills to assist in the management of the fast paced environment of the clinic. Full Time/Part Time can apply, benefits consistent with hours to be discussed.

The individual we are seeking will be responsible for all office duties of a non-traditional medical office which includes but is not limited to:

Customer service – waiting room, phone, patient/client flow
Answering phones – up to 3 lines
Charting processing (routing M1 forms, client billing, referrals as necessary) and preparing and organizing charts for next day appointments
Management of inventory for clinic – medical supplies, linens, therapy/clinic supplies
Communication with third parties-health insurance companies and medical offices for verifications, authorizations, referrals
Communication with companies as required for Pre-Employment/JPA/Fit for employment tests/drug screens and M1’s as necessary
Scheduling of appointments for patients/clients and for off-site corporate accounts and athletic training and health coaching
Support for Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
Billing – Send to corresponding companies and back up for corporate billing as needed.

Experience Required

2+ years customer service experience
2+ years business and/or medical office experience preferred
Excellent computer skills with experience and extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications such as: Word, Excel, Publisher, etc.
Fluid using multi-line phone system
Familiar with AP/AR and scheduling software platforms a plus
