Summary

The HR/Admin Assistant is vital in supporting both people and processes. The HR/Admin Assistant supports the Human Resources Department and the company’s general administrative operations; the position blends HR responsibilities with administrative tasks, helping ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

Provide administrative and clerical support to the CPO and HR Generalist with various departmental activities.
Assist with posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
Organize and maintain internal HR systems such as Paypro, HRIS platforms, or document management software.
Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, including collecting paperwork, setting up personal files, and creating welcome packets.
Prepare and maintain reports on various HR metrics.
Respond to basic HR inquiries from administrative staff regarding policies, benefits, and procedures.
Maintain and update digital and physical employee files for administrative staff.
Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and HR Communications.
Assist in the preparation of and execution of various employee events.
Other assigned duties that require the utmost confidentiality and attention to detail.

Requirements

Experience: At least 1-2 years of HR-related experience, preferably in the homecare industry.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with HR software, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint).
Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels.
Problem-solving Skills: Ability to handle sensitive issues and conflicts with confidentiality and professionalism.
Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Attention to detail: Maintaining accuracy and consistency in all HR documentation.
