Zurich Canada is seeking an Executive Assistant to support members of the Senior Management team and help drive our strategic priorities. In this role, you will play a key part in advancing Zurich Canada’s strategic objectives by providing high‑level administrative support and contributing to the success of your designated area.

What you will do

  • Deliver confidential and high‑quality administrative support to members of Senior Management.
  • Organize and prioritize daily tasks, ensuring work is completed accurately and on time.
  • Welcome and direct internal and external stakeholders.
  • Answer and screen phone calls, manage simple email responses, and support clear communication for leadership.
  • Compose routine and non‑routine correspondence based on notes or instructions.
  • Process incoming mail, ensuring it reaches the right people promptly.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and business activities.
  • Manage office supplies and organize travel logistics using Zurich’s internal procurement tools.
  • Prepare expense reports and handle payments for business expenses.
  • Uphold compliance with legal and regulatory standards in daily operations.
  • Access, process, and analyze data to support business decision‑making.
  • Identify and propose improvements to enhance business processes.
  • Provide general clerical support and assist staff in processing transactions to meet service standards.
  • Coordinate onboarding and off‑boarding activities for employees.
  • Deliver reception and office support, creating an inviting workplace for visitors and team members.

Job Qualifications

Required:

  • Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 3 or more years of experience in the Administrative area; OR
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 5+ years of experience in the Administrative area; AND
  • Experience in planning, organizing, and scheduling work.

Preferred:

  • Strong project management skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this position is $65,000 – $85,000. Compensation may vary based on location, responsibilities, and individual qualifications. Employees receive a comprehensive health and benefits plan, at least four weeks of vacation per year, and four personal days to use at their discretion.
