Job DescriptionWe are seeking an Executive Assistant to provide full administrative support to the Senior Vice President, Memory Technology. In this role you will be trusted to work with the highest level of confidentiality and be expected to become familiar with the products, people, and organizational dynamics within Western Digital. While you will report to the SVP of Memory Technology, you will become a core member of the executive leadership administrative support team, collaborating closely with the CEO’s office.

The ideal candidate is focused, organized, and innovative. We’re seeking someone who is flexible and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong critical thinking and attention to detail are equally meaningful in this role. Having a sense of humor is a must!

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Calendar Management: View the calendar through a strategic lens to schedule meetings that support the executive’s goals. Proactively solicit agendas and manage attendee lists.

Meeting Planning and Organization: Assists in the planning and organizing of internal and external meetings, team offsites, and organizational wide meetings. Obtains briefing documents for key internal/external meetings and creates briefing packets for business trips.

Correspondence/Approvals: Acts as a proxy for communications and approvals as authorized. Acts a as a source for general inquiries and refer routine matters to appropriate parties.

Travel: Manages complex international and domestic travel. Carefully considers and decides the optimum travel arrangements and itineraries. Processes Passports and Visas.

Tool Management: Manages expense reports, PO’s, and becomes a tool champion of WD’s internal tools. Partner with executive technical support teams to ensure flawless execution when video conferencing and other meeting technologies are used.
