About the role:

As the Assistant to the CEO, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a great work environment for the company and enabling the CEO to focus on critical business tasks. You will work closely with the company’s leadership to ensure that the team is aligned with the company’s priorities and values.

Your responsibilities will include supporting the efficient running of leadership meetings, preparing meeting briefings and minutes, and ensuring high levels of organisational effectiveness, communication, and safety. Responsibilities:

Support the efficient running of Leadership meetings and optimising Leadership time.

Actively taking projects away from the CEO and doing them yourself!

Prepare meeting briefings and minutes, including for board and shareholder meetings.

General & administrative – including bookkeeping & budgeting, implementing best practice systems & practices to manage invoice payments & reconciliations on Xero, payroll, tax, insurance, and reporting to leadership.

Special projects and office duties as required – e.g. organising marketing events, helping set up new offices/ labs, travel planning.

HR – from time to time, coordinating interviews and onboarding/ inductions.

You will lead the coordination of Exhibition and Demonstration events, including the planning, registration, and attendance at Trade Shows, enhancing our brand presence, and fostering valuable connections.

You will be leading administrative actions (such as identifying alternative banks or insurance providers).

Your skills and experience:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.

Clear and concise communication style, capable of building constructive and long-term relationships.

Strong business acumen to address commercial issues and contribute to business improvement.

Self-motivated, reliable, and proactive with a can-do attitude to tackle problems hands-on.

Attention to detail and focus on execution, with the ability to synthesise information into clear recommendations and actions.

Proactive and driven to contribute to the growth of companies and products.

Proficiency in office software such as Word, Excel, and accounting software like Xero.

Nice to Have:

Experience working in the technology industry, edge AI, Robotics or Software Development.
