Our Lamar office in Salt Lake City, UT, is now hiring an Airport Admin Assistant / Billing Coordinator to help us bring innovative outdoor advertising campaigns to life for brands in Salt Lake City, Utah, and the surrounding areas. The purpose of the Airport Administrative/Billing Coordinator is to provide high-level administrative support in a fast paced sales environment including contract flow, accounts payable, and collections assistance, etc. This role will also provide excellent support and consistently improve the internal and external customer experience through service-oriented, collaborative approach with all departments in the organization.

What we’re looking for in YOU:
Ability to read, interpret, and create a variety of documents, including contracts, emails, letters spreadsheets, and graphs.
Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and database. Spreadsheet skills must include the ability to create spreadsheets in Excel, and develop complex formulas, link worksheets, and combine data from more than one
source.
Working knowledge of standard accounting practices and experience using automated/computerized accounting systems. Experience with bookkeeping procedures.
Must have strong math skills (i.e use decimals to compute ratios and percentages, draw and interpret graphs, calculate mark-ups and discounts).
Some analytical ability is required in order to gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various administrative problems, and prioritize work.
Work requires an excellent command of the English language.
Must be well organized and have excellent written and oral communication skills and have the ability to interact effectively with clients, management, sales staff, and corporate contacts
Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy.
Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
Strong work ethic – someone who takes great pride in professionalism, responsibility, and is proactive
Top candidate will be upbeat and have an outstanding service orientation as well as excellent
verbal, written and listening skills
Education and Experience Requirements
High School diploma required
College Degree in business or related degree preferred
1+ years’ experience in an office setting is required, preferably in sales administration
1+ years’ experience processing A/P, required
1+ years’ A/R and collections experience preferred
Minimum of 1 years’ experience in bookkeeping/accounting and using automated/computerized accounting systems is preferred
OR equivalent combination or education and experience

A day in the life:
Supports all departments in contract processing and flow, including review of upcoming contracts for completeness and accuracy
Prepare supporting documents such as billing instructions and addendums that clarify information
Enter and update data in the CRM system
Ensure credit applications are complete and that contracts are credit screened before billing
Review installation reports for completeness and route as directed
Assist with processing invoices in a timely manner
Maintain active ATB reports and assist with collection efforts
Process customer receivables
Assists OM in maintaining a thorough and organized (electronic or filed) archive of documents
Maintain a high-level of expertise in appropriate Lamar systems
Prepares or assists in gathering documents needed to support billing activities.
Assist and work with Office Manager on needed projects
Handles extensive work via phone and email.
Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant problems
Work strategically to maximize efficiencies and value for the airport, advertiser, and Lamar
Work effectively and efficiently with cross-departments
Physical Demands and Work Environment
The primary work environment for this position is an office.
The physical demands for this position include light lifting, seeing (with a focus on reading, acuity, and depth perception), and talking.
Nights spent away from home traveling are less than 10%.
