An Executive Assistant to the Senior Vice President (SVP) and Head of HR plays a critical role in supporting high-level executive functions. Their key responsibilities typically include:
Administrative Support:
Managing the SVP’s calendar, scheduling meetings, and coordinating appointments.
Handling emails, calls, and correspondence on behalf of the SVP.
Preparing and editing reports, presentations, and other documents.
Organizing travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and itineraries.
Maintaining and organizing confidential HR and business records.
HR & Business Coordination:
Assisting in HR initiatives like policy updates, employee engagement activities, and recruitment coordination.
Supporting HR communications, including memos, announcements, and reports.
Liaising between HR teams, business units, and external stakeholders.
Managing special HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
Meeting & Event Management:
Preparing agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions for executive meetings.
Organizing HR events, leadership off-sites, and town halls.
Coordinating with internal teams for training programs and HR activities.
Strategic & Confidential Support:
Handling sensitive HR and business information with discretion.
Assisting in budgeting and expense tracking for HR functions.
Acting as a gatekeeper for the SVP’s time and priorities.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
2+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably supporting senior HR or C-suite executives.
Experience in HR functions, corporate administration, or a similar professional setting is a plus.
