The Role:
Lycia Therapeutics is seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in providing comprehensive administrative support to our executive leadership. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional multitasking abilities, strong interpersonal skills, and a keen eye for detail, contributing to the efficiency and success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage scheduling for CEO and senior leadership team, including managing calendars and coordinating travel arrangements
Provide administrative and office support to staff, including finance, EHS, facilities, IT, and serve as a safety team member
Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents
Serve as a liaison between executives and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and timely follow-up on action items
Coordinate logistics and provide administrative support for meetings with the Board, Scientific Advisory Board and other external stakeholders
Partner with HR operations team, ensuring new hire onboarding is efficient and welcoming
Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and integrity
Support special projects and initiatives assigned by the senior leadership team
Organize team communications and plan company events, both internal and off-site
May have some office operations and logistics responsibilities
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and demands
Early stage biotech company experience is preferred
Experience providing EA support of C-suite preferred

The expected base salary range for this role is $100,000-$135,000. We encourage candidates of all levels to apply as there is often flexibility on job title and responsibilities. Compensation will be based on a variety of factors, including experience, qualifications and internal equity.
