JOB DESCRIPTION:
CA Carey’s in office Administrative Assistant role features great pay, an easy-going working environment, and experience working in a construction company. We are looking for a full-time assistant to perform general office and administrative tasks, help our CEO with executive and company management tasks, and assist with general office organization out of our Issaquah office. Experience as an executive assistant, administrative assistant, or office manager is preferred but not required. If you are organized, motivated, and a quick learner, this could be the role for you! If initiative and organization skills are shown, this position allows the opportunity to take on more tasks and work towards an Executive Assistant, Office Manager, or other fitting role. This position would be a great fit for recent graduates joining the work force, or anybody interested in gaining experience in an office environment, learning more about construction or project management, or simply putting their organizational skills to use!
ABOUT CA CAREY
CA Carey is a General Contractor for Washington State, mainly performing Public Works contracts for entities such as SDOT, WSDOT, and other city municipalities in and around the greater Seattle area. Our office is located in Issaquah, WA.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide support for daily operations. This includes answering the phone, filing, reviewing emails, sorting the mail, and other typical office tasks
Data entry. This includes entering invoices into our accounting system (Foundation), uploading certified payrolls online, and general organizational data entry for office operations.
Assist CEO with necessary company-related duties
Learn and master the use of our various data systems including: Foundation Software (accounting), Heaving Jobs (construction field management), LCP Tracker (online certified payroll reporting for public works), LNI (online certified payroll reporting for public works)
Assist staff with miscellaneous tasks. This includes updating spreadsheets, running reports, coding invoices, office organization, or other staff-delegated tasks. We won’t give you anything we don’t think you can handle! Show us what your strong suits are and we will work with you to develop your responsibilities beyond the daily operations and data entry tasks.

General technical skills (Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, navigating computers and various software)
Graduated from high school, with some college experience preferred
Experience in a previous professional work environment preferred
Experience as an executive assistant, administrative assistant, or officer manager preffered but not required
Expected hours: 40 per week, M-F 8AM-4PM or 9AM-5PM
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
