Responsibilities

We have a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to support our Executive General Manager of Vero Business and her leadership team with their day-to-day requirements. Your key responsibilities will include:

Effective diary management

Co-ordinating travel and accommodation arrangements

Meeting preparation (scheduling meetings, workshops and video/teleconferencing)

Managing the mechanics of budget and expense maintenance

Attending meetings to take minutes and record and follow-up action items

Assisting with new starters set-up and arranging team orientation

Ad-hoc administrative and project support as required

What You’ll Bring

To shine in this role, you will be an outgoing person with a positive attitude and eagerness to go above and beyond for your team. Our ideal candidate will have:

EA / PA or legal secretary experience within a corporate environment

Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be discreet

High attention to detail and good judgement

Be someone who looks for ways to problem solve and make continuous improvements

Be a proactive, self-starter who is happy to work autonomously and take the initiative

Banking or insurance industry experience (advantageous)

Qualifications in office administration or secretarial/business studies (advantageous)
