Title: Executive Assistant

Company: Evolv I.T.

Location: Birmingham, AL

Executive Assistant to the CEO & COO – Evolv I.T.

Location: Birmingham, AL (In-Person Preferred)

Salary: Competitive Base + Performance-Based Incentives

About the Role:

This isn’t a glorified calendar jockey job. As the Executive Assistant to the CEO and COO of Evolv I.T., you’ll be the right hand to two high-performance leaders driving a high-growth company. If you thrive in chaos, love bringing order, and anticipate needs before they’re spoken, this is your arena.

You’ll protect their time, tighten communication, manage high-level execution logistics, and become a strategic filter for what moves forward—and what gets blocked. Your impact will be felt company-wide.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Own and manage the calendars of the CEO and COO with precision—no double-bookings, no surprises.

Prepare leadership for all meetings with pre-reads, agendas, and follow-ups.

Gatekeep communications and act as liaison across departments, vendors, and key partners.

Coordinate travel, speaking engagements, events, and leadership offsites.

Track action items and project deadlines; chase them down before reminders are needed.

Support strategic initiatives with research, documentation, and execution logistics.

Maintain confidentiality with absolute discipline—especially regarding financials, staffing, and company strategy.

Help create clarity, reduce friction, and build systems that scale executive capacity.

What We Expect from You:

You handle pressure and pace like a pro. Chaos doesn’t rattle you—it activates you.

3+ years experience supporting a CEO, COO, or similar executive in a high-growth environment.

Extreme attention to detail, ruthless prioritization, and impeccable time management.

Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook, and task/project management tools.

You take initiative, think two steps ahead, and solve problems before they escalate.

You’re as comfortable handling personal errands as you are prepping board decks.

You get things done—without being chased.

This Role is NOT for You If:

You need constant direction or struggle with ambiguity.

You wait to be told what to do instead of figuring it out.

You get flustered when plans change (they will).

You prefer a 9-to-5 cruise-control job.

You’re just looking for a stepping stone and not ready to be indispensable.

Why You’ll Love Working Here:

Direct impact at the highest level of a fast-scaling company.

A front-row seat to strategic growth, acquisitions, and innovation.

High-performance culture where excellence is rewarded.

Leadership that values loyalty, execution, and initiative.

Opportunity to grow into Chief of Staff or operations leadership as we scale.
