Overview:
Accurately enter sales orders received from the estimating team into Configurator.
Responsibilities:
Work with estimating personnel to data enter all orders and/or proposals into software system.
Responsible for making any changes, corrections and adjustments as deemed by the estimators.
Work with tax accountant on tax issues in software system.
Provide administrative support to estimating team by filing closed jobs, maintaining and purging file cabinets, updating logs, tracking jobs, scanning and filing proposals, setting up and scanning contracts, etc.
Balance order by comparing job summary to job manager. Research discrepancies from order releases.
Assist and fill in when co-workers are out of office.
Work with the credit department to check credit hold orders daily via e-mail.
Keeps work area clean and neat.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Two to three years previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience.
Intermediate computer skills required; Outlook email, Word, Excel. Access a plus.
Must be detail oriented.
Basic blueprint and conversion knowledge required.
