What You’ll Do
Performs operational duties in support of regulatory, security, and industry practices compliance documentation. Coordinates the verification, approval, and processing of document revisions, and tracks document activity to ensure timeliness and process efficiency. Inputs new information into database systems, create and manage records, update existing database systems, produce reports, retrieve data as requested, perform regular backup activities for databases, and document, organize and store relevant documents.
Performs a variety of activities in support of functional areas or for a specific project, business, or technical unit. Gathers, collects, records, tracks, and verifies data and information from multiple sources. Compiles, reviews, and analyzes data. Uses software to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence, and presentations. May design processes to enhance work flow. Provides data and information to others on processes and procedures. May provide routine administrative support including taking messages, scheduling meetings, preparing correspondence, filing, etc., for more than one managers or departments. Requires a broad working knowledge of departmental and company policies and practices.
Operates a variety of electronic office equipment to transcribe or validate data from various source documents. Reviews input/output data to verify completeness, accuracy, and conformance to quality standards and specifications. Prepares and maintains programs for automatic duplicating or skipping operations. Interprets information from a variety of source documents to determine data to be keyed. Maintains production records. Provides a variety of reports as requested.

Minimum Job Requirements
High school diploma: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
Associate degree: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Job Requirements
Experience developing and managing internal processes and filing systems.
Proven experience as a data entry clerk and use of word processing tools and databases.
Fast and accurate typing and editing skills. Working knowledge of report production, documentation, organization and storage of records.

Requires a Q clearance; however all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance is required.

Position may require entry into Materials Access Areas (MAA) and participation in the Human Reliability Program (HRP). If HRP is required, candidate must complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph, pursuant to 10CFR 709. Medical requirements may apply.
