Responsibilities
Provide a bridge for smooth communication between the GMD’s office andinternal departments; demonstrating leadership to maintain confidentiality, trust and support with senior management staff.
Successfully complete deliverables with a hands-on approach, includingdrafting acknowledgement letters, personal correspondences, circular and other task that facilitate the GMD’s effective communication across theCompany.
Research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues, handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follow-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.
Maintain an organized system for tracking, monitoring, and prioritizing tasks and projects. Activity requires extensive collaboration with multiple parties and handling of sensitive and confidential information.
Collate and organize management reports from various departments with high accuracy and meeting timelines.
Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes and implementing changes.
Making and managing travel arrangements, including transportation, accommodation, immigration and specific requirements of the countries/ places travelled to for GMD
Organizing and attending meetings and ensuring the GMD is well prepared for meetings.
Undertake special assignments, ad-hoc functions and related duties assigned by the management.
Job Requirements :
Must possess Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Office or Business
Management or closely related field;
At least 7 years experience in a position with similar duties and
responsibilities
Excellent speaking, writing and overall communication skills a must
Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
Bilingual and Chinese speaking candidate is a plus.
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modelling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
Must be flexible, highly organized and have a proven ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands. This will require collaborating with team members and working independently.
Deals effectively with a variety of personalities and situations tactfully and professionally.
