Marriage Center in Chesapeake, VA (Greenbrier) is a Christian, small group counseling center seeking an administrative team member in a part-time receptionist/administrative assistant role. The position requires a commitment of 6 hours per day, Monday through Thursday, 9:30 am to 3:30 pm. Basic Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma
Background in Business Administration, Health Administration, Psychology, or a related field (preferred).
Experience:
Previous administrative experience in a healthcare or clinical setting is preferred.
Experience in scheduling, patient intake, and record-keeping.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Software :
Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with scheduling software and patient management systems.
Organizational Skills:
Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Interpersonal Skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to interact professionally and compassionately with clients and staff.

Duties Include:
Answering incoming calls and returning calls in a courteous manner
Utilizing practice management software (Electronic Health Records – EHR)
Checking clients in and collecting payments
Scheduling new and follow-up appointments
Answering client questions and handling all inquiries confidentially and sensitively.
Entering new patient information and demographics in practice management software
Conducting/verifying insurance benefits eligibility
Supporting licensed clinical mental health professionals
Scanning, copying, printing, and filing documents
Preparing new client charts/records for appointments
Verifying client forms completion
Monitoring supplies
