Job Description:

Cardinal Building Materials is seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to our team. As the Executive Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our office and assisting in various administrative tasks to facilitate efficient operations. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, impeccable attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Manage executive calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings and conference calls.

Assist in the preparation of meeting agendas, attend meetings, and record minutes as needed.

Screen incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, and prioritize items requiring immediate attention.

Coordinate and organize special events, including company functions, conferences, and team-building activities.

Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Manage office supplies, equipment, and inventory levels, and place orders as needed.

Act as a liaison between executives and internal/external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and business partners.

Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and data entry.

Provide administrative support to other departments as required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field preferred.

Proven experience as an executive assistant or similar role, preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and courteous demeanor.

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work output.

Proactive and resourceful problem solver with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Prior experience in the building materials industry is a plus.
