Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience

2 or more years of experience in an administrative or executive support role

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Demonstrated ability to effectively multitask and meet deadlines

Preferred qualifications:

5 years of experience in an administrative or executive support role

An eye for detail, meticulous grammar and a creative thinker

Able to maintain confidentiality surrounding company materials and information

Highly organized work style with excellent interpersonal skills

A “no job is too big or too small” attitude

Typing speed of at least 70+ wpm (as typing is a critical skill for this position, we encourage you to review and practice your typing skills throughout your application process here )

What you’ll do on a typical day:

Due to the critical nature of this role, this position is required to be in the office 5 days a week at our new (and soon to be opened) corporate location in Boston, MA (One International Place on the 16th floor)

Foster a welcoming environment and provide exemplary customer service from the reception desk for employees, visitors, VIPs and C-suite executives for XPO’s corporate headquarters

Maintain the highest levels of confidentiality, professionalism, attention to detail and customer service

Draft high-level presentations, communications and documents using Word, Excel and Power Point

Occasional note taking may be required in confidential meetings

Maintain accurate calendars with an understanding of prioritizing critical deliverables

Plan and arrange domestic and international travel itineraries and accommodations

Maintain supplies and cleanliness of all pantries, conference rooms and copy centers; manage and act as main point of contact in the reception area

Manage security system for office; monitor all visitors and assign appropriate badge access, monitor security camera footage, create/deactivate/manage employee  access

Support onboarding of new employees; distribute s, set up work spaces and provide all pertinent office and office park procedural information
