Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team at the Island Lake location as a Data Entry Specialist – Inventory & Accounts Payable. This role will primarily focus on efficiently handling the data entry tasks related to inventory receiving and accounts payable processes.
Schedule and Benefits
This position offers flexible part-time hours, with the possibility of transitioning to full-time based on performance and business needs. We offer competitive compensation in the range of $20 to $25 per hour, commensurate with experience. Additionally, part time employees are eligible for PTO.
Key Duties
Accurately enter received purchase orders (POs) into Global Shop software system.
Verify quantities against items checked in by floor staff and make necessary adjustments.
Match pricing on invoices to corresponding POs and ensure accuracy.
Assist in resolving discrepancies between POs, invoices, and received items.
Collaborate with team members to streamline data entry processes and improve efficiency.
Maintain organized records of purchase orders, invoices, and related documentation.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proficiency in data entry and familiarity with inventory management systems.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and external vendors.
Prior experience in purchasing, inventory control, or accounts payable preferred.
