Description of Work

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with State Benefits, including health insurance, paid vacation, paid sick time, paid holidays, as well as retirement.

This position is located in the Randall Building, Prison Administration Section.

This position reports to the Human Resources Technician III
A primary role is scheduling interviews, preparing interview materials, and serving as a liaison for the interview process with hiring managers
Position works closely with the Human Resources Technician in the areas of benefits administration and personnel file maintenance, and has frequent communication with applicants and Prison managers
Work requires excellent communication skills both orally and written
This position will be trained to utilize the NeoGov system, the DAC Applicant Tracking System, Fiori, and other software applications

Anticipated Vacancy

As of January 1, 2025, there are new increase adjustments to the state’s pay plans which were approved by the State Human Resources Commission, effective January 1, 2025. The new salary range will be $0,000 – $0,000. Prior applicants will remain under consideration and do not need to reapply to be considered for this increase.

If selected for this position, a new salary will be recalculated taking into consideration the quantity of relevant education and experience, funding availability, and internal equity. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of related administrative experience;

This department includes State Prisons with custody, healthcare, and facility operations staff as well as the division of Community Supervision.
