Executive Assistant (Fixed Term) Job in Cambridge at University of Cambridge –
This crucial role provides a link between the Director and other staff in the Institute, as well as with the wider University community and both national and international contacts. The post will be varied and interesting.
You will be an enthusiastic and experienced EA with excellent interpersonal and IT skills, an eye for detail, and a “can do” attitude. Strong oral and written communication skills, organisational capabilities, ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines are also important. You will develop effective and efficient ways of working with the Director to organise all aspects of her work including diary management, recruitment, and events. You will also prepare material for meetings, undertake correspondence and act as secretary to key meetings, producing reports for a varied audience – sometimes Institute wide, sometimes for senior and academic staff.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, calm under pressure and able to keep pace in a busy work environment. Operating with tact and discretion, you will be proactive in response to new matters as they arise. You will become an integral part of a well-established network of lab administrators within the Institute and have the support of an experienced and friendly core administration team. You will also have the benefit of working in a central Cambridge location at the cutting edge of science.
Interviews are expected to be held on 23 March 2023.
