Job Summary
This position exists to retrieve, convert, and provide electronic images of requested documents for various DVS staff, law enforcement personnel, the courts, the Attorney General’s office, and others via instant messaging and inter-office mail. As time permits, this position is also responsible for prepping, scanning, indexing and verifying multiple types of MV and DL documents.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Skill in customer service to provide prompt and accurate information to customers in person, on the phone, and through email and other written or electronic correspondence
Knowledge of communications sufficient to communicate effectively with internal and external customers via phone, email, and other written or electronic correspondence
Knowledge of math sufficient to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers
Skill in data entry to read source documents and enter data in specific databases or tracking systems
Knowledge of document and/or records management systems sufficient to store, categorize, and retrieve electronic files
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in the Windows environment sufficient to use Outlook, Excel & Word
Ability to work cooperatively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and underserved communities
Physical Requirements
Requires occasionally moving and transporting 50 pound items and frequently moving and transporting objects such as heavy tools and heavy file boxes. This job may require positioning self to move to a significant degree across rough terrain or may involve maintaining a stationary position for extended periods.
