Job Duties:
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Senior Vice President
Serve as gatekeeper; screen, prioritize, and respond to incoming correspondence, maintaining confidentiality
Manage calendars; schedule internal meetings, appointments, conference calls and corporate events
Coordinate travel for business; travel and monthly expenses
Maintain communication with direct reports
Compose, edit, and distribute internal and external communications on behalf of Executives
Run weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for meetings
Review and track Human Resources hiring requisitions, offer letters, and other documents for new hires
Collaborate with direct reports to ensure department organization
Manage sensitive matters and information with a high level of confidentiality and discretion especially decisions directly impacting the operations of the company.
Prepare Word, Excel, PowerPoint presentations, agendas, reports, special projects and other documents in support of objectives for the organization.
Send data requests to regions, consolidate and summarize information
Screen incoming telephone calls; take and deliver accurate messages; respond to requests by gathering and providing information and referring non-routine calls to the appropriate staff.
Ability to function well in a high-paced environment; performs additional duties as assigned by executives.
Manage the Executive’s contacts
Be responsive to emails/texts/phone calls, with contact outside normal business hours
Welcome the Executive’s guests by greeting them, in person or on the phone; answering or directing inquiries.
Conserve the Executive’s time by reading, researching, collecting and analyzing information as needed, in advance.
Assist Regional Managers as needed
Organizational skills are paramount to this role

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York, Starr Insurance Companies is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets: experience and training: licensure and certifications: and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $100,000 – $120,000
