THE GIST:

Our client, an early stage & well-backed software startup, seeks an Executive Assistant to support their founder. This role will provide expert-level administrative & operational support and will help build out the administrative function & shape company culture. The ideal candidate has supported a founder at an early-stage startup and has experienced the rapid scaling of a company.

THE NITTY GRITTY:

Act as an extension of the founder & company with professionalism and polish

Help build out and champion company culture

Expertly prioritize founder’s time, oversee calendar management, organize meetings, and address scheduling conflicts

Manage email inbox and respond to internal & external communications with a sense of urgency & professionalism

Coordinate travel and prepare itineraries

Plan company events, offsites, and meetings

Provide occasional personal assistance to founder (scheduling, travel, etc.)

Prepare presentations and meeting materials

Track and process expenses

Assist with various tasks and projects, as needed

THE ESSENTIALS:

4+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant

Must have experience supporting senior executives at an early-stage startup, ideally a founder/CEO

Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a high-growth environment

Passion for company culture and building things from the ground up

Strategic & process-oriented mindset

Ability to anticipate needs and think 10 steps ahead

Superb organizational skills

Adaptable nature and ability to shift priorities as needed
