Job Description:
Provides general administrative and special project support to the Human Resources department, touching on all components of the department including benefits, employee relations, recruitment, policy revision, training and legal compliance with employment regulations.
Serves as the primary administrative support for the Human Resources Department.
Assist the HR Coordinator, Benefits Specialist and Recruitment Coordinator with various administrative tasks.
Process employee terminations, employment verifications and pre- employment background checks.
Data entry and employee file maintenance and records retention.
Works on various special projects throughout the year as assigned by the Human Resources Manager.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Attention to detail.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Basic mathematical and accounting skills
Human Relations/Interpersonal skills
Written communication skills
Oral Communication skills, including presentations to individuals, small groups and large groups.
Time management skills
JCPRD requires reference/background screening for all positions. Specified criteria may vary by Department.
