This is a part-time position (10 hours per week) and provides the opportunity for a highly motivated and organized individual to experience working with and supporting a non-profit organization CEO.
The Executive Assistant (EA) will provide minimal but critical administrative, support to the CEO. The EA’s work involves time-sensitive and confidential information.
Major administrative responsibilities include managing the CEO’s email inbox and calendar, scheduling appointments, coordinating minimal travel arrangements, mostly domestic, and maintaining records and other documentation. These duties are critical to the implementation of the strategic approach of the CEO and to contribute to the productivity and overall success of MSH. The EA’s major communications responsibilities include drafting and managing limited correspondence.
Qualifications
REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, social sciences, foreign language, or related field.
Required Minimum Experience
- 4 years of experience working with senior or executive-level staff in administrative, communications, or project management support roles
Knowledge And Skills
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications is required, including mastery of Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English, both verbally and in writing. Language skills in French and/or Spanish highly preferred.
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Skilled in the use of social media platforms.
- Ability to adapt and learn other database programs as required.
- Prior experience in a global health environment is preferred, but not required.

Physical Demands
- Ability to travel domestically with the CEO as required (up to 5%).
- Keyboard use, pulling drawers, lifting papers less than 10 pounds, etc.
The expected salary range for this position is: $64,100.00 – $68,000.00 annually (U.S. locations only).
