The Studio at DRC is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a full-time Administrative Assistant. Our staff works as a team and we share the focus of delivering the utmost service through our daily interactions with our clients, vendors and internal team members. Your enthusiasm for exceeding the client’s needs and expectations will make you successful in this role.

Job Duties:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Answering phones and greeting clients
Daily purchasing for both client and showroom orders (Quickbooks)
Invoicing (Quickbooks)
Create price tags and tear sheets for all incoming showroom product (will require calculating pricing and percentages).
Manage receiving of showroom inventory- unpack new merchandise from boxes and put new stock on display shelving or stock room (primarily bedding and bath accessories).
Maintain consistent communication with off-site accounting regarding invoicing for all client and showroom orders.
Manage claims- reporting, problem solving, finding solutions.
Tracking orders and status updates for products.
Work directly with buyer for new product orders/ inventory management as needed.
Filing and maintaining organization of paperwork
Qualifications:
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, working closely with sales team members.
Ability to multi-task and handle consistent workflow.
Proficient with computers and email.
Knowledge of Quickbooks, Microsoft Word, and Excel is preferred.
Possess great planning and organizational skills
Self-motivated and self-regulated (ability to work autonomously and produce results)
Detail oriented; strong communication skills; team player
Job Requirements:
Oral Communication, Written Communication, Math Aptitude, Organizational skills, Reading and Time Management.
Working hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 – 5:00
Physical Requirements: Responsibilities require sitting, standing, walking, bending, lifting, grasping, reading, and listening.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 – $29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
